Sunflower Oil Production Process
The production of sunflower oil using the pressing method requires cleaning, shelling and kernel-shell separation, embryo rolling, steaming, pressing, filtering and other processes.
1. Material selection: Screen sunflower seeds, whose oil content is 30% to 50%;
2. Cleaning: Use a cleaning screen and a demagnetizer to remove impurities such as iron, stone, grass, and soil from sunflower seeds, and remove impurities from oil.
3. Remove the shell: The sunflower seed shells can interfere with the proper functioning of the oil press and lead to increased wear and damage to the equipment.
Therefore, a crusher is needed to remove the shell of the sunflower seeds before the formal oil pressing.
4. Embryo pressing: Embryo pressing involves modifying the internal structure of sunflower seeds. It helps to reduce the oil extraction pathway and significantly enhance the efficiency of oil extraction
5. Roasting: Add the sunflower seeds to the rotary frying pan to heat them evenly and roast them. The roasting conditions are: temperature 160℃, time 50min, and the speed of the rotary frying pan is 20-25 rpm;
6. Cooling: Use a fan to cool the roasted sunflower seeds. Reduce the temperature of the sunflower seeds to 45℃ within 15-20min, and then place them in a cool place.
7. Pressing: Place the baked and cooled sunflower seeds into the feed hopper of the screw oil machine. As the seeds move into the pressing chamber, the pressure applied by the screw mechanism extracts the oil, separating it from the oil cake.
8. Filtration: The oil squeezed out by the oil press is crude oil. The crude oil is filtered through a centrifugal oil filter/plate filter to remove impurities in the crude oil.
Commercial Sunflower Seed Oil Press Machine
Commercial sunflower seed oil press machine includea the structure design of pressing part, transmission part, frame part, oil outlet device and feed. The pressing part is the most important part of the equipment, and its core part is the spiral pressing chamber.
